Polludrone

A continuous ambient air quality monitoring station of the class GOCEMS monitors — up to 9 gases plus particulates, noise and weather in one solar-powered, IP66 unit, reporting 24/7.

  • Up to 9 gases + PM
  • Solar / IP66
  • EPA-grade calibration

Why it matters for monitoring

Built for unattended field operation

Sampling, power, connectivity and storage are all designed so a unit can sit on a fenceline for years and keep delivering data GOCEMS can trust.

Patented e-breathing

Micro active sampling isolates the air sample for higher accuracy in the field.

On-device calibration

Built-in calibration software; cloud calibration over the standby GSM link.

Weather resistant (IP66)

Certified enclosure rated for harsh, high-humidity and dusty conditions.

Solar powered

Runs 100% on solar for off-grid sites; LiFePO4 battery gives up to 24 h backup.

Over-the-air updates

Firmware and configuration pushed from the server — no site visit required.

Network agnostic

GSM / LTE / Wi-Fi / LoRa / NB-IoT / Satellite / Ethernet / Modbus.

Retrofit design

Compact pole- or wall-mount unit that drops into existing infrastructure.

Onboard buffering

Up to 16 GB / 90 days of local storage so no data is lost if the link drops.

Three-step calibration

01

Laboratory calibration

Every unit is calibrated in an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 lab against NIST-traceable reference gases, following U.S. EPA guidelines.

02

Collocation calibration

Units are then run beside a reference station using U.S. EPA-designated FEM/FRM instruments to tune real-world response.

03

On-site calibration

Once running in the field, units are calibrated on location with known-concentration cal gas or by collocating with a reference standard.

How Polludrone fits GOCEMS

Stations like Polludrone stream into the GOCEMS cloud, where ECHT's monitoring service takes over — data validation, EPA-Ghana compliance dashboards, threshold alerts and one-click regulatory reports all run on top of that feed.

Polludrone is designed and manufactured by Oizom Instruments Pvt. Ltd. This page is a technical reference for the instrumentation GOCEMS monitors — ECHT Environmental Services operates the monitoring, validation and compliance service and does not sell or install monitoring hardware. Specifications are drawn from the Polludrone datasheet (V7.1) and are subject to change by the manufacturer.
